This weekend was an outstanding showing for the Forza family. Although we have won smaller tournaments, this marks the first major tournament win for our Club. The Girls 05' select squad came to the Northstar's Cup with true grit and determination to showcase what for some has been many years of training and dedication to the sport of soccer. As coaches we are so humbly moved by the effort and spirited play that our team displayed. We notched a perfect 6-0 record for the tournament, sweeping our division and then winning the section Final in overtime over regional competition. The shouts of joy, tears and even Coach Tom doing "the worm" will be among the many memories that last. Our 07'/08' Squad and 06' Squad each took home the 2nd place medals in their divisions, which represents outstanding effort. All Forza teams entered in the tournament earned medals.
